Welcome to Marsden Heights Community College – where everyone matters.

contact

Welcome to our website and if this is your first contact with us then as headteacher of Marsden Heights Community College may I welcome you warmly. Our college has been in this beautiful building for the last 7 years and I joined Marsden Heights on its journey on the 1st January this year. Our aim is to become an outstanding community college where all learners are able to reach their potential personally, socially and academically. It is a privilege to work on a daily basis with such exceptional young people, their families and the local community. This is a college where you instantly feel the warmth from students, staff, governors and parents and as a learning community, we will work tirelessly to ensure that all our children grow and develop into independent and resilient learners who can face the demands of the future with confidence and with great memories of their time at Marsden Heights.

The college’s focus on learning is the driving force behind everything that we do and students are offered a diverse and challenging curriculum both inside and outside the classroom. We have high expectations and we make no apologies for being very demanding of our students and our staff, as only the best will do for our children.

This is a time of great change for the college and we welcome the many challenges ahead, we feel that we are truly privileged to work with such wonderful students and parents. As we know, success is the result of excellence, hard work, learning from failure and persistence – all of these are in evidence every day at Marsden Heights and these qualities are what will make us truly great as a college. Summer 2017 saw a significant rise in our results which is proof of our continued drive to increase the opportunities on offer for our children and their families.

Our doors are always open … come and see for yourself!
