Required from 19thFebruary 2018 or sooner:
Reflection and Restoration Lead (HLTA)
For February 2018, we want the very best Reflection and Restoration Lead to come and make a difference to our children. Our Reflection and Restoration area is where we support our students with a quiet and safe place to reflect upon their choices and our expectations for learning. It is also a place where students are reintegrated after a fixed-term exclusion so that the right intervention can be in place at the right time.
This is a post which is firmly rooted in teaching and learning with high expectations in achievement. The post will require the teaching of literacy and numeracy programmes and subject-specific support, adjusting activities in accordance with student needs. It will require working in collaboration with class teachers, subject leads and our pastoral team to ensure that students have a seamless transition back into mainstream classes.
We offer you a really supportive staff team with access to superb training opportunities.
The selection process will be rigorous because only the best will be good enough for the children of Marsden Heights. We can promise you an exhilarating teaching and learning experience which will also be deeply satisfying. If you think you would like to be on our journey to excellence, then contact Janice Mellor for more details.
This post is subject to enhanced DBS clearance.
Marsden Heights is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
